Having released over 100 compositions on several major streaming platforms, and working for a few short films as well as some small indie games, I already developed a wide variety of genres, while still sticking to my own style. The following list shows demos of a few chosen works
Piano meets Synth
Over the years, I was able to create my own style in terms of musical colours and harmonies, some of the most successful examples (Previews) are displayed here. All of the pieces below can also be found alongside many others on all major streaming platforms, under the artist name “Bluefoxx”.
Stormy Clouds
Pollution
Halo
Stormy Clouds was created as the first one of my Album “All the minor Keys” which focusses on creating a connection between minimalistic, thoughtful piano music layered with warm synth sounds in, as the name suggests, all minor Keys from C to B. The Second piece Pollution was created alongside a short film project about humans polluting the earth. Halo was the last piece of the set, written in b minor. For further projects, I was thinking of using the other modes as inspiration as well to discover the colours of each given set of structural harmonies.
Synthwaves
Looking at my first few attempts of writing for synths, I’ve made some great discoveries over the last few years on how to create the exact tone colour and feeling I want. Some examples are shown below.
DeLorean Cruise
Bad Sleep
The upper two pieces, are part of my next coming Synth album, each covering 5 pieces in a Retro-synth or electronic music style. Some examples of the other Synth EPs can be found below.
Rain
Flying Woodnymphs
All gone eventually
Rain was one of the more unusual ones, which in retrospect, I don’t really consider as a part of a Synthwave anymore (even though it was featured in my second Synth EP) but as the beginning of my Lo-Fi phase.
Lo-Fi
A popular genre to use in the background for studying, reading or just relaxing, feel free to have listen to a few examples. Most of these pieces were just created from small ideas, which expanded into a small collection over the last year.
Eyes
Finesse
Can not wait (To be with you)
Piano
And finally, my solo piano collection. As my passion lies with piano playing, it was always important to me to create music just for this instrument. It is also where and why I started composing in the first place. Most of the pieces I write for piano have a calming and/or slightly melancholic nature.
Brainfog
Foxglove
Violet Trees
These three pieces are part of the album “Felt Piano A – Z, Vol. 1” where I wrote 26 pieces, each starting with a new letter of the alphabet.
